In memoriam
At the end of last year Odista sadly lost a very valuable associate, Chris Daniels, 60, who passed before his time from a terminal illness. Chris was a Cambridge graduate and translator par excellence, who always drew disbelief from Serbian natives when they discovered he was a foreigner – he spoke Serbian near-perfectly, without a discernible accent! It remains for Odista to preserve the memory of Chris by also preserving the standard that he set and by continuing to build bridges between speakers of Serbian and English.
