CM Serbia

Inspiring companies and their clients

Corporate Media Serbia are the Belgrade affiliate of WAZ Mediengruppe, a leading German media company with a 1.8 billion EURO turnover (2006). CM Serbia is Serbia’s first corporate media publishing company, a sector which includes in-house and in-flight magazines, annual reports and special event magazines.

At the end of 2008, Corporate Media took on the task of launching INSPIRE, the new magazine of the Hyatt Regency Hotel Belgrade.

INSPIRE is a high-quality magazine, as you would expect – guests of the Hyatt are hardly going to settle for less! Featuring original lifestyle, fashion and culture articles, together with quality photography and articles about Hyatt hotels around the world, INSPIRE magazine is aimed at, in their own words, “a target group which shuns mediocrity, and seeks exclusivity.” And INSPIRE is not just for guests of the Hyatt – it is also distributed in some of Belgrade’s top restaurants and cafés, at Nikola Tesla airport, as well as in selected locations in other cities in Serbia and, in the case of the first issue, to passengers of Turkish Airlines on the route Belgrade-Istanbul-Belgrade. It is also sent to embassies and consulates in Belgrade, the media, the top management of companies in Serbia and all those on the Hyatt Regency VIP list.

Where Odista comes in

Inspire is a bilingual, Serbian-English publication and of course, the quality of the translation must match that of the magazine as a whole. Our job is to ensure that the content of Inspire, whether written in Serbian or English originally, is translated to the highest possible standard. This is just the kind of work Odista is best suited to – when it simply has to be perfect. We apply our rigorous translation process, working to a tight deadline, in close cooperation with Corporate Media. By the time we are finished we are confident that the reader cannot tell which version of the article was the original and which was the translation – and that is always our aim!

If you want to see a copy of Inspire magazine, well, maybe it’s time to splash out on that weekend at the Hyatt! Alternatively, you can look for it in some of the locations mentioned earlier. Similar “hot spots” are coming soon to Novi Sad, too.
